Who Publishes Chris' Music?

Masterful Music: Most of my works are available here. My wife and I started this business in 2005.
Pelican Music Publishing: This was the first company to publish any of my music. They sell 6 of my pieces: THEME AND VARIATIONS FOR PIANO, ANNIVERSARY FANFARE for Brass Quintet, BRASS QUINTET #1, ELEGY for String Orchestra, TROMBONE FANTASY for Solo Trombone and Chamber Orchestra, and FANFARE FOR DANIEL for Trumpet Quintet.
Kjos Music Company: WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS, for SATB and Piano.
TRN Music: SINFONIETTA for string orchestra. This is a great piece for high school string programs, and can provide musical challenges for higher levels as well.

Places of Musical Interest

Lincoln Park Brass: A top notch brass quartet based in the Chicago area. They have been great supporters of my music over the years.
Heidi Hagglund, Flute: Heidi is a fantastic flutist and teacher. I have had the pleasure of knowing her since college, and have worked with her on multiple occasions. If you are looking for a quality flutist or flute teacher, you MUST contact her.
Nate Brown - Composer: I have been friends with Nate for years, going back to our college days. Nate is one of the most well-rounded musicians I have ever known, and this really comes through in the eclecticism of his compositions. Check it out!
Michael Scott McBride: Michael is an old and dear friend. We both went to Wheaton and Northwestern for composition. He is an extremely talented and versatile composer, and can write well in every genre he has tried. Check it out!
BCM International: Website for the band music consortium of James Bonney, Steven Bryant, Jonathan Newman and Eric Whitacre. Very cool stuff, very innovative composers for band.
Julie Giroux's Concert Band Music Site: I had the GREAT pleasure of meeting Julie and getting to know her music this past summer. If you're looking for new and interesting band music, you DEFINITELY want to look here!
Meet the Composer - Commissioning Music: A Basic Guide: This is a very useful resource put out by MEET THE COMPOSER, and gives good insight on commissioning new music from composers.
Vox Novus - the new voice in contemporary music: Vox Novus is a collective of composers, musicians, and music enthusiasts collaborating together to create, produce, promote, and enjoy the new music of today. Our members are from a variety of composers committed to the creation and dissemination of new music. Their music is of a variety of styles, aesthetics, and ideologies.
