This piece is in four movements: I. FANFARE, II. ANDANTE, III. ADAGIO, IV. SCHERZO. I introduce a theme in the first movement that is heard throughout all four movements. The ANDANTE and ADAGIO have their own thematic material that dominates these movements, while the outer movements are primarily based on the opening theme. This piece was commissioned by my good friend Brian Reichenbach, member of the Lincoln Park Brass.
