This piece is based on the hymn tune BEACH SPRING. I "through composed" this arrangement/setting of the tune, trying to do as much as I could fragments of the tune to generate musical material. The tune is stated completely only at the very beginning, then the development process begins. This piece is dedicated to Mr. Will Burck and the Waubonsie Valley High School Gold Campus Concert Orchestras.
