R. Christopher Teichler, Composer

I am thrilled to collaborate with the MidCities Chamber Singers and the Texas Chamber Music Project on my cantata "The Good Samaritan!" Featuring solo arias and choruses with orchestra, "The Good Samaritan" combines the text of Jesus' parable with other biblical texts and sermon texts of Charles Spurgeon. The result is a "musical sermon," reminding the listener of what it means to "love your neighbor," and to "go and do likewise."

The recording sessions took place on June 1st and 2nd, and I could not be happier with the performances! The album is going to be of top-notch professional quality! Here is a video I made of part of the recording session:

To help with the costs of recording, mixing and producing the album, I have set up a GoFundMe to accept donations. Every little bit helps! All donations will go directly to the costs associated with the album. If you're able to help, click on the link below. Thank you so much!!!
